North East Museums are seeking to recruit a creative marketing and PR professional to work within our busy and productive Communications team. Experience in communications, public relations or media is essential.

You must be able to write, edit and proof copy, work to tight deadlines and budgets, and work on your own initiative. You must also be familiar with digital marketing including social media, using website content management systems, and e-communications.

You will be responsible for all aspects of marketing and PR to promote Northumberland venues at North East Museums, which include Woodhorn Museum and Hexham Old Gaol. This will involve developing communications plans for assigned venues and will include working with the media, online promotion, print and event organisation.
