We are looking for two proactive individuals with a strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable working independently as well as part of a team and possess strong communication skills to effectively liaise with colleagues and clients.
As an ICT AWS Analyst, you will help design, develop, configure, implement, maintain and support cloud-based solutions and contact centre services using Amazon Web Services (AWS) and associated technologies.
You will contribute to the delivery of innovative digital services that support Newcastle City Council’s strategic objectives, with a particular focus on Amazon Connect, application development, systems integration, automation and emerging AI capabilities.
The role will involve supporting cloud-native and serverless solutions using AWS services such as Amazon Connect, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, SQS and DynamoDB. You will help deliver customer self-service capabilities, contact routing, APIs, web services and middleware integrations through modern software development practices.
You will also provide specialist support for AWS, Amazon Connect and related technologies, helping to monitor, troubleshoot, optimise and continuously improve services so they remain secure, resilient, scalable and aligned to business needs.
You will work closely with colleagues across ICT and service areas, supporting project delivery, service improvement activity, documentation, testing, change management and operational support.
