Smart are recruiting for a new SENCDO role at North Fawdon Primary School from 1st January 2027 or earlier if possible.

North Fawdon Primary School is a highly inclusive, welcoming school.  It is in the heart of the local community and pupils feel safe, valued and happy.  The school identifies the needs of pupils with SEND swiftly and accurately. Staff make appropriate adaptations to the delivery of the curriculum. This meets SEND needs. Pupils with SEND learn successfully alongside their peers.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to develop into the SENDCo role. You will be supported to build expertise, lead inclusive practice and ensure that pupils with SEND receive high-quality provision and achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will be subject to an online search in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education (2026) legislation.

Your principal place of work will be North Fawdon Primary School but you may be required to work at other Trust sites within Smart Multi Academy Trust within reason.
