What the role will involve?
If you aspire to make a real difference and are passionate about delivering high-quality, effective services, then our Traffic Signals team within Network Management and Construction, part of the Transport Division, could be the perfect place for you.

This is an exciting time to join the Highway Operations team as we deliver a range of major transport improvement schemes, capital investment projects, routine highway maintenance, and essential gully cleansing services, helping to keep our network safe, efficient, and resilient for everyone who uses it.

Who are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have a proven track record and recent experience in leading the implementation, management and delivery of highway schemes and programmes.

As a natural leader with a strong commitment to staff wellbeing, you will foster positive working relationships, engage effectively with key stakeholders and customers, and champion innovative approaches to service delivery and continuous improvement to achieve service and financial objectives.

You will possess demonstrable experience in managing contractual performance, ensuring operational requirements are consistently met while maintaining a safe, healthy and secure working environment.

Through strong leadership and effective collaboration, you will drive high standards of performance, customer service and programme delivery.
