Newcastle City Learning (NCL) is looking for someone with relevant experience who can deliver outstanding communication and marketing support for the Council's post 16 learning provider. This is a temporary part time role of 18.5 hours a week for 6 months, at grade N4, to provide maternity leave cover for the existing postholder.

You will be required to work at any either of our sites - the Heaton Centre, or Westgate College as requested.

A high standard of organisational skills and written and oral communication skills are essential along with the ability to pay attention to detail and work to deadlines and timescales. 

The temporary postholder will focus on the core operational priorities of the role, which are creating, formatting, and publishing fully accessible content across all NCL social media channels, and responding to comments and queries on those platforms. Managing day-to-day website updates, ensuring the publishing of accurate information, which will aid user experience. Serving as the first point of contact for teaching staff and managers for their marketing requirements.
