We are seeking applications who will be expected to support the head of Deep Support with all aspects of Deep Support i.e. attendance, alternative provision, SEND and inclusion, behaviour for learning, BRIDGE oversight, PLC and ASPIRE referrals, Inclusion meeting, to take a lead role in all matters pastoral. To line manage allocated pastoral staff. To act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and support the DSL in the operational leadership of safeguarding. And to ensure high standards of behaviour and attendance of all students and across a year groups.
If you are the person we are looking for, you will have a proven track record of effective teaching or tutoring in English, excellent behaviour management skills, an awareness of policies and other guidance on safeguarding and wellbeing, and the interpersonal skills to challenge, inspire and motivate students to enable them to achieve their potential regardless of the barriers they face.
