The Smart Multi Academy Trust is a group of eleven primary schools with academy status. We are seeking to recruit an experienced cleaner to join our dedicated and hardworking Estates Department as part of the premises staff team. The remit will involve the day-to-day provision
of a clean and well-presented site providing an attractive and purposeful learning environment for both our staff and pupils. The Estates Department is in a period of growth and it is an exciting time to join us on our journey. The employer will be the Smart MAT and the post will
work to the local Cluster Manager.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate a record of cleaning and hygiene skills. They should be enthusiastic, hardworking and committed to maintaining standards and be able to contribute to the future development and improvement of the site.

Applications are invited from both experience cleaning processionals and those from different specialities. This is a valued role, key to the successful operation and cleanliness of the site, so it is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate the key skills outlined in the
person specification.

Experience is not necessary and full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

The working pattern for this post is 1500-1700 and is based initially at Kenton Bar Primary School before moving to North Fawdon Primary School.
