North Fawdon Primary is a 3-11 Primary school with approximately 180 pupils on roll. We are a hard-working, caring and welcoming school, rated Good by Ofsted. We are part of the SMART Multi Academy Trust and the Academy would be your employer.

We are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our close-knit team September 2026. The successful candidate will:
  • Have evidence of previous success in supporting children in one or more primary Key Stages.
  • Experience of running successful interventions for primary age children
  • Be enthusiastic about providing exciting, memorable and effective learning for our children
  • Be hardworking and committed to providing the highest quality support for teaching and learning
  • Have confidence to work with and assess the progress of children under the direction of the class teacher
  • Be willing to work additional hours in our Wraparound Care provision where possible
  • Caring, considerate and inclusive and someone who understands our core values of ‘Be Brave, Dream Big and Inspire Others’
