About the Role
The Governors and Headteacher of St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School, part of the Bishop Bewick Catholic Education Trust, wish to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic and skilled Learning Support Assistant (Level 3) to join our committed team.
The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, including:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils
- Leading or supporting small group interventions
- Assisting with classroom organisation and administrative tasks
- Contributing to an inclusive, nurturing learning environment where all pupils can thrive
The Successful Candidate will:
- Hold a recognised Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
- Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective learning strategies
- Demonstrate experience of supporting pupils with a range of needs
- Build positive, professional relationships with children, staff and parents
- Be a flexible team player with excellent communication skills
- Show commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
- Work effectively in partnership with staff and external agencies where appropriate
- A welcoming, supportive and dedicated staff team
- Enthusiastic and well-behaved pupils who are eager to learn
