An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Education Funding Officer to be part of the Education Funding Team within the Children & Families Directorate.

* Are highly organised, can work on their own initiative and be able to manage and prioritise their workload within a fast-paced working environment

* Have excellent verbal and written communications skills

Our team looks after the Schools and High Needs Blocks of the Dedicated Schools Grant and provides various financial services to our maintained schools.
Your role will provide comprehensive financial support for the administration and distribution of the High Needs Block and other Education-related funding. You will manage and maintain IT-based systems / spreadsheets for the monitoring and forecasting of all DSG High Needs Block cost centres. You will use your excellent communication skills when providing advice, guidance and training to the SEND Teams, schools and other education providers.
