A dynamic and exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Property Business Partner within Newcastle City Council’s Commercial Property Department.
Working in a hybrid capacity from home,the Civic Centre and on site at various locations, you will have excellent administration skills and be a self-motivated individual with the ability to learn new skills quickly.
As Property Business Partner you will help to manage a varied portfolio of operational properties and to develop and implement a strategy to provide a fit for purpose portfolio that meets the needs of service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how our estate supports front-line services, regeneration, and the city’s long-term ambitions.
You will assist in maintaining the portfolio with an understanding and knowledge of costs and condition associated with the buildings. Your person skills will be invaluable in liaising with the building and service managers.
This role requires the successful candidate to act as a trusted advisor to directorates across the Council, ensuring our assets are aligned to meet service delivery needs and corporate priorities. You will be able to work under pressure and on your own initiative. Excellent communication and team working skills, together with the ability to use Microsoft Office systems will be essential.
