The Transport division are committed to delivering services that will help Newcastle develop into the UK’s safest, most accessible, and best integrated multi modal carbon efficient transport system thereby ensuring the future economic growth of the city.
What the role will involve?
To operate key business information systems including the capture, maintenance, co-ordination and reporting of business information to support effective business operations and to enable robust decision-making and rigorous performance management of services.
You will be supporting and advising colleagues and apprentices whilst complying to Newcastle City Councils policies and procedures.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone methodical with an excellent level of literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, who shows good attention to detail. You must be good at communicating with customers, operatives and management to help support the Transport Division. You must be able to manage your time and workload efficiently with minimal supervision and be highly motivated to make improvements.
