About the role
We’re looking for a Service Improvement Assistant to support the delivery of key priorities across Adult Social Care and Prevention.

This is a varied role where you’ll work across service improvement activity, programmes and day-to-day business support. You’ll help ensure workstreams are well organised, informed by good data, and delivered on time.

You will:
  • Support service improvement projects and workstreams
  • Maintain plans, actions and documentation to track progress
  • Research and analyse information to support decision-making
  • Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations
  • Help manage data and systems to ensure accuracy and quality
  • Act as a first point of contact for queries and support responses
  • Organise meetings, workshops and follow up actions
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Adult Social Care and Prevention, building strong working relationships and supporting delivery at pace.

About you
You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable working across a range of tasks and priorities.

You will:
  • Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Be confident using IT systems (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams)
  • Be able to gather, analyse and present information clearly
  • Communicate effectively with a range of audiences
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Be able to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience supporting projects, improvement work or working in a public service setting would be helpful, but not essential.
