An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Accountant to join the Education Funding Team within the Children & Families Directorate.

Our team looks after the Schools and High Needs Blocks of the Dedicated Schools Grant (DSG) and provides various financial services to our maintained schools.
You will have a diverse role supporting many aspects of education funding whilst contributing to the strategic financial planning of the Dedicated Schools grant (DSG). Your role will incorporate the financial management of the DSG Schools and High Needs Blocks, including monitoring of the SEND Reform Plan. You will provide advice and guidance to partners and will undertake change projects to improve financial processes and services. It will be a challenging but rewarding role, presenting opportunities for creativity and service development within education and finance.
