We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Legal Officer to fill a new fixed term post within the Housing & Litigation Team in Legal Services.
The Team deals primarily with housing, regulatory matters, disrepair, anti-social behaviour, prosecutions, licensing, and debt recovery.
The successful applicant will have excellent attention to detail with good research and drafting skills, be someone who can work to strict and often conflicting deadlines managing their own caseload. This post is a 12 month fixed term position specifically created to assist in providing advice and undertaking enforcement work to ensure compliance with the Renter's Rights Act.
Recent experience of ICT is essential. Experience within a local authority legal department and debt recovery would be an advantage but is not essential as the post is within an experienced and supportive team.
