Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference? Join our dedicated team supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within a specialist respite and crisis service.
We provide a safe, supportive environment where individuals can thrive, take part in meaningful activities, and enjoy positive experiences while also giving families a well-deserved break.
As a Health & Social Care Officer, you’ll play a key role in delivering compassionate, person-centred care that empowers people to live with dignity, choice, and independence.
You will support individuals with all aspects of their daily care, while consistently promoting dignity, respect, and independence. Using person-centred approaches, you will ensure that each individual’s needs, goals, and aspirations are understood and met. This includes encouraging participation in meaningful activities, supporting communication and self-expression, and promoting informed choice in ways that are meaningful to each person.
This role requires a caring, patient, and flexible approach, along with a genuine commitment to making a positive difference. You will need to demonstrate strong values rooted in dignity, respect, and inclusion in everything you do.
We have two posts available, each offering 35 hours per week. The role involves working a varied shift pattern, with early shifts starting at 7:45am and late shifts finishing at 9:15pm. You will work on a regular three-week rota, including two weekends out of every three. Enhanced pay is provided for unsocial hours.
We are committed to protecting and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expect all staff to share this commitment. This post is working in regulated activity. If you are successful we will undertake additional recruitment checks which will include a check to see if you have had any criminal convictions, a check of police information and we will check the barred list(s). It is a criminal offence for a barred individual to apply for a job in regulated activity.
