Our Religious Studies Department has a long and well-deserved reputation for excellent academic results, attracting students with enquiring minds who aspire to improve their critical thinking and global awareness. We are looking for an ambitious and inspiring candidate who can stimulate our students with a passion for inquiry and take them through and beyond the curricula. The successful candidate will lead on all aspects of the RE curriculum from Year 9 to A Level as well as contribute to whole school assemblies. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the subject who can inspire both students and colleagues.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- An outstanding classroom practitioner
- A passion for RE
- Experience of successfully teaching RE up to A level
- The ability to lead and develop a small team of staff
- Consistently high expectations of students, your team and yourself
- Some experience of successfully monitoring and supporting progress and raising achievement
- Excellent ICT skills and communication skills
- A commitment to fresh and exciting ways of delivering the curriculum
