Newcastle City Council are seeking to recruit Technical Surveyors, to support the repairs and void section (including M&E) deliver a productive and efficient service.
You will be responsible for all technical aspects of the client management in delivering the service to the allocated area of work within, repairs voids, and the electrical department.
Duties will include visiting customers properties and assessing any repair related issue. Providing good customer service, including keeping customers up to date with the progress of their repairs. Working closely with subcontractors, coordinating works and ensuring repairs are completed to a high standard.
Providing health and safety information in job preparation, working in collaboration with Repair Managers to ensure works are completed safely.
Utilising ICT software such as Tenant Hub, NICEIC online certification, Microsoft Office etc, to create works, review information and keep up to date records within the required systems.
The role will involve quality assurance, you may also be required to sign off electrical certification playing a key role in ensuring compliance with BS7671, health and safety legislation, and organisational procedures, while delivering an excellent service to customers.
