About the Role

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey of our workforce. Reporting to the Business Development Manager, you’ll lead the planning, delivery, and evaluation of training initiatives for frontline Facility Services and Civic Management staff. The training includes delivering induction and practical training, safeguarding, health and safety, and mandatory training across a wide range of services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging training and induction programmes
  • Lead on all divisional training requirements such as health and safety, manual handling, COSHH, and safeguarding through face to face learning to predominantly front line staff.
  • Conduct training needs analyses and develop tailored learning plans
  • Site specific training as required
  • Support learners to achieve their goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery
  • Produce post-training evaluations and recommend improvements
  • System management of training records
 
Essential Criteria
  • Proven experience in delivering and evaluating training
  • Strong understanding of workforce development requirements and the Health and Safety at Work Act
  • Excellent communication and coaching skills
 
Desirable
  • Recognised teaching or training qualification
