We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated Senior Technician to work within our Public Protection & Neighbourhoods team. 

The team deal with a wide range of housing related issues including housing standards, noise and anti-social behaviour, public health nuisances and property licensing.

What you will be doing:
Assisting the team in their duties under with the Housing Act 2004 and other relevant legislation
The regulation of private rented properties subject to HMO (House in Multiple Occupation) and Selective Licensing.
The investigation of complaints relating to property disrepair,  noise and anti-social behaviour and public health nuisances
Taking informal and formal enforcement action including legal notices and criminal prosecutions
Using intelligence to target landlord and letting agents of concern
