The Role

As a Key Stage 2 teacher at Broadwood, you will play a vital role in shaping the learning journey of our children. You will be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, committed to delivering an engaging and inclusive curriculum that inspires every pupil to achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver and assess creative and effective lessons that meet the diverse needs of Key Stage 2 learners, ensuring every child is challenged and supported.
  • Uphold and model the highest standards of teaching and professionalism, contributing to the positive ethos of the school.
  • Take the lead in a subject area, sharing your passion and expertise to drive improvement and innovation across the curriculum.
  • Participate fully in the wider life of the school, building relationships with children, families and colleagues, and contributing to our vibrant school community.

  • Experience of teaching in upper Key Stage 2. Experience of teaching Year 6 is desirable.
  • Confidence and initiative to lead a subject area and support colleagues in delivering excellence
