The Governors of Ravenswood Primary School in Newcastle are looking for an excellent primary teacher to join our friendly staff team and wonderful children. The post will be a fixed term for one year with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will need to be able to build strong and supportive working relationships with pupils, staff and parents and nurture a love of learning in our children.
Ravenswood is a large primary school, based in Heaton just next to the Coast Road. We have over 600 pupils with a Nursery and three form entry throughout Reception and Key Stages 1 and 2. We have a wonderful diversity of pupils and incredibly supportive parents and carers. We have extensive grounds and a thriving extra-curricular provision.
The school is strongly committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. The successful applicant will be required to obtain an enhanced Certificate of Disclosure from the DBS and a range of other recruitment checks.
