Mascot Manager Job Advert
We have an exciting opportunity for someone to lead our vibrant and well-established Mascot Telecare service.
The service offers a monitoring and response service to our customers in and out of Borough. The service is also the first contact for out of hours calls for the council.
We have recently completed a transition over to our new digital call handling system. This is an exciting time to join the team as a we look at expanding our offer to customers and providing innovative ways to keep people safe and independent in their own homes and communities with the use of technologies.
We are looking for someone with drive and vision who is keen to develop and adapt the service, with shared vision of promoting independence and wellbeing.
As Team Manager you will need demonstrate excellent people management skills and have had successful experience in a telecare or other call centre setting. Your day-to-day roll will include ensuring safe service delivery with staff rota’s, processes, supervision and active oversight. You will take a direct role in the promotion and development of the service and lead the team through change.
You will need to be flexible and adaptive in your own work practise to ensure the needs of a 24/7 service are met. You will be based on site at Morden Civic Centre.
