We are seeking to recruit an experienced practitioner to lead our Nursery and Preschool room at our setting in Mitcham.
This is a term time only position working 35 hours per week.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, who must hold at least a Level 3 Childcare qualification and have 3 years or more post qualification experience. The successful candidate will have,
-
recent experience of leading a team within a childcare setting
-
a sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
-
knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding and Child Protection
-
an ability to plan and deliver an engaging and interesting curriculum to all children.
Experience working with and supporting children with SEND and building and maintaining strong relationships with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals is also essential.
The successful candidate will be part of our management team and in addition to leading the team in the room will deputise for the Manager when required. This includes taking full responsibility for the setting in the absence of the Manager.
This is a permanent term time only position, 35 hours a week.
