 Are you an experienced and passionate early years professional ready to take the next step in your career? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery & Preschool Room Leader to join our welcoming team in Mitcham.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of practitioners, inspire children's learning, and play a key role in shaping high-quality early years provision for local children and families.

About the Role

As our Nursery & Preschool Room Leader, you will:

• Lead and motivate a team to deliver outstanding care and education.
• Plan and provide an engaging, inclusive curriculum that supports every child to thrive.
• Promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Build strong relationships with children, families, colleagues, and external professionals.
• Support children with SEND to access learning opportunities and achieve positive outcomes.
• Ensure safeguarding and child protection responsibilities are always met.
• Be part of the nursery management team and deputise for the Nursery Manager when required, including taking responsibility for the setting in their absence.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a minimum Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Has at least three years' post-qualification experience working in an early years setting.
• Has recent experience leading or supervising a team.
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS, child development, and high-quality early years practice.
• Has excellent knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Is committed to providing exceptional care and learning experiences for every child.
• Is an effective communicator with strong organisational and leadership skills.
