About the Service
Eastway Day Centre is a service for older people with complex needs such as; dementia, strokes and care and support needs. The service aims to promote quality of life and independence for those living in their own homes.
About the role and ideal person
We offer a daily variety of activities in a stimulating environment to enable people to make choices. We work in a multi-disciplinary team to safeguard clients and highlight changes to care needs. You will be joining a dedicated staff team.
You will need experience of;
- Working with older people living with dementia
- Working as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Supporting people with challenging behaviours
- Working flexible hours
- Planning, running and evaluating activity session
