The role:
- The role of Regeneration Manager is based in the Housing Delivery team within the Regeneration service area, in the City Development Directorate. This exciting new role will focus on identifying and bringing forward challenging housing sites both in the private and public sector for development
- As the Regeneration Manager you will help to facilitate the delivery of housing led urban regeneration projects, working closely with various stakeholders to drive forward schemes that will have a positive impact on our communities
- As part of the team, the Regeneration Manager will help develop a future pipeline of opportunities, unlocking stalled sites and supporting the implementation of a programme to deliver residential, mixed use and public realm schemes, together with creating opportunities to bring forward new regeneration opportunities
- We are looking for a collaborative, inspirational property professional with a broad range of experience in housing led urban regeneration, development projects and land transactions, including the identification, development and delivery of place making projects, with a strong focus on housing.
- The ideal candidate will be a strong team player, with excellent relationship management skills, and a clear track record of managing complex and challenging projects and programmes with multiple or diverse stakeholders
- For the role of Regeneration Manager, ideally you will have membership of a relevant professional body e.g. RICS, RTPI, CIH, CFA, ACA, CIPFA and experience in delivery housing led projects and programmes
- We welcome applications from a variety of backgrounds; however, you will have experience of working with large and complex organisations and be confident in managing political, social and commercial project sensitivities
