What’s the role?
As a Registration Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting residents through important life events such as births, deaths, marriages and citizenship ceremonies. You’ll use your existing skills to deliver a professional, empathetic and compliant service, ensuring all statutory requirements are met. Working both in the office and out in the borough, you’ll gain valuable experience across a wide range of registration activities while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Location
The job is primarily based in The Register Office, 368 Lewisham High Street, Lewisham, London, SE13 6LQ we do not operate a hybrid approach , therefore you will be required to work in the office on a regular basis.

- Weekend working is required for this job
- The job is subject to an basic DBS check

Salary
£37,509 - £39,807 per annum (SC6)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SC6) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
