As a Business Support Officer, you’ll be at the heart of the service, helping everything run smoothly while making a real difference every day
What’s the role?
As a Business Support Officer within the Shared Lives Service, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day delivery of Adult Social Care services. You will provide high-quality administrative and customer support, managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records, and supporting meetings, training, and service processes. Your work will help the team deliver efficient, responsive, and person-centred services

What we’re looking for
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and able to manage a range of administrative tasks in a busy environment. You will have strong communication skills and be confident dealing with customers sensitively and professionally. You should be comfortable using ICT systems, maintaining accurate records, and handling confidential information. We value someone who can work both independently and as part of a team, show initiative, and adapt to changing priorities. Experience in a customer-focused or administrative role will be important
Location
The job is primarily based in Ladywell Day Centre, but we operate a hybrid approach where you will be required to work both in the office and from home on a regular basis.

- Occasional weekend working is required for this job
- The job is subject to a DBS check

Salary
£32,442 - £33,384 pro rata (SC4)
N.B: All appointments will be offered at the minimum spinal column point (SCP8) for the grade of the role. The only exception to this will be when matching current salary (up to the maximum of the scale), which is subject to evidential proof.
