About the Team:

Our Neighbourhood Housing Team delivers a proactive, customer-focused service to Lambeth tenants and leaseholders. As a Neighbourhood Housing Officer, you will manage complex housing management casework, investigate and resolve tenancy and estate issues, work closely with internal and external partners, and ensure residents receive a high-quality service. This is a dynamic role requiring sound judgement, excellent communication skills and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for residents and communities.

Permanent and Fixed Term Opportunities Available

We are currently recruiting to a number of Neighbourhood Housing Officer positions, including:

  • Permanent full-time position

  • Fixed-term contract positions (up to 12 months)

We welcome applications from people looking to build a career in housing, including those with transferable skills from customer service, community, enforcement, support, tenancy, housing, local government, or related environments. 

Training and development will be provided; however, successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage complex casework, make balanced decisions, and work confidently with residents and partner agencies. This reflects the responsibilities of the role as set out in the person specification.
