About the Team:

The Supported Housing Commissioning team manage funding streams to support a range of housing-related support services for young people and single adults with support needs. The Adult Supported Housing Pathway accommodates former rough sleepers and single adults aged 22+.This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our lively, passionate, and welcoming team. The role will be extremely varied, and you will play a key part in making a significant difference to some of the most vulnerable people in Lambeth, those sleeping rough or without a home.

About the Role:

The Commissioning Development Officer will support the team with all phases of the commissioning cycle, creatively drawing on a wide range of resources and assets across the partnership, organisation, and community to ensure that the council’s strategic, specialist housing-related support requirements are delivered. This role will require working in partnership with key stakeholders, colleagues, and the community, in a politically sensitive environment.

The post holder will work across rough sleeping services and supported housing provision, including Housing First, to monitor contract compliance and collaborate with providers to develop and implement improvement plans. This will ensure that all commissioned services consistently meet required standards of quality and excellence.
