About the role

To plan/deliver a learning programme to teach art to adults within our creative skills curriculum area. Learners will not be working towards a qualification, but will develop their art and creative skills using a wide range of techniques and media. Learners will range from complete beginners to competent artists.

About You
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative member of staff to teach art to adults. You will:
Ideally have a teaching qualification
Have experience of teaching art
Be able to include digital skills within the delivery of your course
Be able to devise and deliver imaginative art courses and workshops for day, evening and some saturday provision
Track learner progress and feedback to ensure that learners achieve their goals
Demonstrate agility and adaptability in mindset and ways of working
Demonstrate commitment to own personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the
role
Communicate clearly, confidently and appropriately with colleagues using the best methods of communication for
the task.
Actively engage in positive cross organisational communications and team working
Demonstrate innovation and creativity

. Skilled in various media and committed to nurturing individual artistic talents in a supportive, inspiring environment in Surbiton. The main role would be to deliver Watercolour provision on Mondays over two 2.5 hour sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Levels vary from beginners to intermediates and advanced.
