About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Project Manager to join the Digital Transformation Team within the Technology Division.
The Digital Transformation programme brings together major digital change projects that support the Council's strategic priorities and long-term ambitions. As a Digital Project Manager, you will lead and deliver complex digital and technology-enabled change initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered effectively, achieve their intended outcomes and realise measurable benefits.
Working across a diverse range of services, you will manage projects involving technology implementation, system integration, digital service improvement and data-driven change. You will work closely with stakeholders, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful delivery within agreed timescales, budgets and governance arrangements.
About You
You will have experience of successfully delivering complex projects or programmes, ideally within a large organisation, and be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders. You will possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities and the confidence to lead delivery in challenging and evolving environments.
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
- Experience of managing complex projects or programmes.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaborative working skills.
- The ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and hybrid teams.
- Excellent organisational, project and financial management skills.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
