Role Responsibility

We are looking to recruit to a Financial Affairs Officer based in Maidstone however, we undertake hybrid working, meaning that we work from home and the office, depending on business needs. The position available is permanent full time (37 hours per week).
This post holder will manage the finances for Adult Social Care clients who are not able to do so themselves and who have no-one else that can act appropriately on their behalf. We do this either via a Department for Works and Pensions appointeeship or a Court of Protection Deputyship.
This role includes maximising a client’s income through benefits claims as well as managing their debts and ensuring that their personal financial needs are being met.
You must be positive, engaging, adaptable to change, and possess excellent organisational, numeracy and communication skills. You will be able to demonstrate compassion and knowledge when working with people in order to quickly build rapport whilst facing challenging situations.
You will be provided with a comprehensive training program so that you are able to deliver the requirements of this role, this training will take place in Maidstone. If you are flexible, adaptable, can work under pressure, hold all the necessary skills, experience, and knowledge, and are prepared to go the extra mile, then this is an excellent opportunity for you to work within a dynamic and developing environment.
