Role Responsibility
This is a challenging and exciting career opportunity within the HR Team, supporting and enabling our service managers to achieve their business outcomes with confidence and competence.
As a senior HR Adviser you will be confident in operating in an advisory capacity and be able to build and maintain positive relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation to deliver business focused solutions. Engaging with the business to understand their needs, making well informed decisions, as well as developing, implementing and evaluating policies, systems and guidance tools in line with HR and OD Strategy.
Working as part of a collaborative, supportive and customer-focused team, we are seeking someone with substantial experience of providing high-level professional HR and OD advice across a wide range of issues, including employee relations, organisational design, reward, employment policy, equality and diversity, culture, resourcing and pensions. You will have a strong knowledge of employment legislation, terms and conditions, and HR policies and procedures, together with the ability to interpret complex information and communicate it clearly to a range of audiences.
Ideally you will have experience of working within a unionised environment and be competent in developing strong and effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
You should hold CIPD Level 5 with relevant experience and be willing to work towards Level 7, or already hold CIPD Level 7, MCIPD, or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
