We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Benefits Realisation and Data Analyst to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO).
This is a key role at the heart of delivering the Council’s strategic priorities, using data, insight and analysis to evidence impact, inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement across our portfolio of programmes and projects. Your work will have a visible impact on service delivery and outcomes for staff and residents we support. It is a great opportunity to shape best practice in data and benefits realisation across the council.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver workshops and coaching to build capability in benefits realisation and data analysis across the PMO
- Lead the tracking, analysis and reporting of benefits, performance and outcomes across the portfolio
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools (including Power BI) to present clear and compelling insights
- Provide analytical input into business cases, governance reporting and key decision-making processes
- Translate complex data into accessible, meaningful insights for a wide range of audiences
- Support and influence programme and project teams to embed a data-informed approach
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone with:
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with complex datasets
- Experience in benefits realisation, performance reporting and/or data analysis within programmes or projects
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly and influence stakeholders
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 tools, particularly Excel and Power BI
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships
- Understanding of programme/project environments and governance processes
