As part of the Tenanted Estate Team within Kent County Council’s Infrastructure Real Estate service, you will be responsible for the professional management of a diverse portfolio of income-generating and strategic property assets. You will also support and deliver asset acquisitions and disposals and, where required, represent the Council in courts and tribunals.
The role offers the opportunity to implement the Council’s Estate Strategy across a varied portfolio, ensuring assets are managed proactively to maximise value, generate income, minimise liabilities, and support wider corporate objectives. Managing a range of complex cases, you will develop practical solutions and lead negotiations with tenants, agents, solicitors, and other stakeholders to protect the Council’s interests and deliver positive outcomes. Working collaboratively within a team of property professionals, you will help drive continuous improvement across the Tenanted Estate.
