We have a unique and rewarding opportunity for a
dynamic, self‑motivated Lead Intelligence Analyst
to join our specialist
Intelligence & Data Team
,
supporting the
Kent Resource Partnership (KRP)
and working closely with all 12 District and Borough Councils.
This is a fast‑paced, high‑impact role where you will provide expert intelligence and analysis to drive effective enforcement activity and support strategic decision‑making across Kent.
What you will do:
Promote intelligence-led approaches in fly-tipping enforcement.
Serve as the main contact for fly-tipping intelligence across councils and partners.
Create analytical reports and profiles following national standards.
Advise enforcement teams and managers to guide investigations and actions.
Provide intelligence training for consistent practices among officers.
Conduct detailed checks and collaborate on cases involving major offenders.
Identify trends and intelligence gaps to inform priorities.
Support strategic projects with intelligence and insights.
What you will need:
Experience in intelligence-led decision-making.
Background in analysis or enforcement using intelligence.
Strong analytical skills for clear, actionable outputs.
Proficient IT and data handling skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work independently and build partnerships.
Organised and proactive, able to manage competing demands.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Interviews will be held at either Kings Hill or Maidstone on the 30th April 2026. The post holder must be vetted to Non-Police Personnel Vetting Level 2 (this will be arranged for you).
