Role Responsibility

We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Fly-tipping Partnership Officer to help lead Kent’s response to fly-tipping. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a countywide partnership, bringing together organisations and communities to tackle environmental crime and keep Kent clean and green.
Working within the Resource Management and Circular Economy team, you will coordinate the development and delivery of Kent’s Fly-Tipping Action Plan, working closely with the Kent Resource Partnership, district and borough councils, the Environment Agency, Kent Police, landowners, community groups and other key agencies. You will help develop co-ordinated innovative projects, coordinate campaigns, share best practice and support joint action to reduce fly-tipping across the county.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, managing projects and turning ideas into action. You'll be a confident communicator with strong organisational skills and a passion for delivering positive environmental outcomes.
If you're looking for a role where you can make a visible impact, influence change and work with a wide range of partners to improve Kent’s environment, we'd love to hear from you.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
