You’ll be part of a dedicated Notification and Support team established to support the Council’s response to a cyber attack and associated data breach. Your role will focus on delivering day to day notification and support activity, ensuring enquiries and cases are handled promptly, accurately and with empathy.
On a daily basis, you’ll triage enquiries, manage cases and operate support channels such as helplines and inboxes, making sure individuals receive clear, consistent information and are directed to the right support pathways. You’ll handle sensitive and, at times, complex conversations, escalating safeguarding concerns or high risk cases appropriately.
You’ll also work closely with colleagues across social care, housing, legal, information governance and communications to ensure support arrangements are coordinated, well documented and aligned with agreed programme decisions.
For further details, please review the Job Description and Person Specification.

We’re looking for someone who is organised, resilient and comfortable working with sensitive personal information, applying sound judgement and confidentiality at all times. Experience coordinating casework, support services or enquiry handling functions will be important, alongside strong written and verbal communication skills.
You’ll bring a calm, compassionate approach, an eye for detail, and a commitment to fairness, accessibility and safeguarding when supporting individuals affected by a cyber incident.
About us
