About The Role

Class Teacher – EYFS/KS1

Required for September 2026                                       Salary Grade Range: MPS/UPS

Robert Blair School is a one form entry school with Under 3’s provision close to Caledonian Road.

In September 2025 we formed a federation to work in partnership with Hargrave Park School in Archway. Both are small maintained community schools, committed to working together to ensure high quality inclusive provision for our children.

We are looking for a dedicated, reflective professional to join our team.

Our core school values are captured in our school motto:

‘We care for each other and work together’

We can offer you:

  • An experienced leadership team committed to children achieving their very best
  • Strong pastoral support for pupils
  • A trauma-informed, highly dedicated staff team
  • A wide variety of CPD opportunities, including tailored coaching opportunities

As a school we want to foster a sense of belonging for our pupils; providing an environment where they feel included, heard and successful in their learning. We want them to be ambitious for their future and develop strong foundational skills to ensure their readiness for secondary school and beyond.

We want our staff to be equally ambitious for their career. Leaders place a high value on the professional development and wellbeing of our staff.

Visits to the school are encouraged. Please contact our School Business Manager, Cyrilene Malcolm, to arrange an opportunity to meet with the Head of School, Sara Liney.

Robert Blair is committed to safeguarding the welfare of young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to DBS checks and excellent references. In line with KCSIE 2022 and safer recruitment practices, the school will conduct an online search for all shortlisted candidates. The online search is part of our safeguarding checks and will seek publicly available information on candidates’ suitability to work with children. Shortlisted candidates will be provided with further guidance and will be asked to clarify their online presence.
