About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Officer who is confident, capable, and passionate about delivering high-quality care. You must have proven experience in a senior or supervisory care position, ideally within a dementia care setting working with older adults. If so, we’d love to hear from you and to join our team at Clifton Gardens Care Residential Home.

In this key role, you will lead by example, ensuring our residents receive high-quality, person-centred care that supports their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

What you’ll be doing:

1. Leading and supervising a team of care staff on shift.

2. Administering and managing medications safely.

3. Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing, identifying any changes.

4. Providing compassionate emotional support and building meaningful relationships.

5. Maintaining accurate care records and reporting to management.

6. Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and external partners.

7. Acting as the Duty Officer when required.

8. Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, policies, and care regulations.

About The Team You’ll Be Working In

Clifton Gardens is a 42-bed residential care home in Chiswick, supporting older people, many living with dementia. We are committed to providing a warm, respectful, and person-centred environment.

About You

We are specifically seeking someone who brings strong experience and confidence in leading care teams.

Essential:

1. Significant experience in a senior care role including leading a small team.

2. Proven ability to lead shifts and supervise staff.

3. Experience in dementia care.

4. Strong knowledge of care planning, safeguarding, and compliance.

5. NVQ Level 3 (or above) in Health & Social Care.

6. Confident using digital care systems and IT (Word, Excel, Outlook).
