The Role
We are seeking an exceptional School Business Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in the success of our school. This vacancy has arisen due to the retirement of our current School Business Manager, providing an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join the school at a key point in its development.
As School Business Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and direction for the operational management of the school. Working closely with the Headteacher, Governors and senior leaders, you will ensure that our resources, systems and teams support the highest standards of education for our pupils.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and ambitious leader to shape and develop our administrative and operational functions, lead an evolving office structure and contribute to the strategic direction of the school.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a professional adviser to the Headteacher and Governing Body on finance, HR and site management matters.
- Providing strategic leadership for finance, administration, HR, IT, premises management and data protection.
- Leading and developing our administrative and premises teams.
- Contributing to securing excellent educational outcomes for all pupils.
- Playing an active role within the Senior Leadership Team and the wider life of the school.
- Supporting the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children.
