About the role
- Hillingdon Council is recruiting two Service Modernisation Managers to lead transformation across our Housing Needs and Homelessness service. These are critical roles at the heart of change - driving service improvement, strengthening performance and delivering the new operating model. You will play a key role in modernisation, improving efficiency and delivering MTFS outcomes.Design the future. Deliver change. Improve outcomes.About the opportunity
We are recruiting two roles with distinct focus areas:
Service Modernisation (Operations & Systems)- Lead operational performance improvement and service redesign
- Map and streamline processes and develop consistent procedures
- Support IT configuration and system improvements
- Embed new ways of working across the service
Procurement & Commissioning- Lead procurement and mobilisation of key contracts
- Develop services for single homelessness, rough sleeping and youth pathways
- Work with partners to strengthen provision and outcomes
- Ensure value for money and effective delivery
Both roles will:
- Drive delivery of modernisation and MTFS workstreams
- Work closely with operational teams and senior leaders
- Use data and insight to identify risks and improvements
- Deliver change at pace in a high-demand environment
