We are looking for a SEND Reform Data Officer to support the delivery of Hillingdon's SEND Reform Programme, including the innovative Experts at Hand model. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape how data is used to improve inclusion, early intervention and outcomes for children, young people and families across the borough.
As SEND Reform Data Officer, you will provide specialist analytical and reporting support to SEND services, helping leaders and partners make informed, evidence-based decisions.
Working closely with Education, SEND, Early Help, Social Care, Health and Business Intelligence teams, you will develop reporting tools, analyse performance and financial data, and provide insight that supports service improvement and programme delivery.
You will:

- Analyse operational, performance and financial data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Support the monitoring and evaluation of SEND Reform initiatives, including Experts at Hand.

About You
We are looking for a skilled analyst who can turn complex information into clear, actionable insight.
You will have:
- Experience in data analysis, business intelligence or performance reporting.
- Strong skills in Power BI, Excel and data visualisation.
- Experience using SQL or similar data querying tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-technical audiences.
- A commitment to data quality, accuracy and continuous improvement.
Experience within SEND, education, children's services or local government would be advantageous but is not essential.
Why Join Hillingdon?
This is an opportunity to be part of a transformational programme that is improving outcomes for children and young people with SEND across the borough.
You'll work in a collaborative environment, develop your analytical expertise and play a key role in shaping services through data-driven decision-making.
