    • Help deliver activities that promote personal development, wellbeing, resilience and positive outcomes.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues, community organisations and partner agencies.
    • Contribute to planning, delivering and evaluating youth work programmes and activities.
    • Support the identification and engagement of children and young people who may benefit from additional opportunities and support.
    • Promote inclusion, equality and diversity in all aspects of service delivery.
    • Maintain accurate records and contribute to monitoring and reporting requirements.
    • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends and occasional residential activities.

The successful candidate will be committed to taking a positive, holistic and empowering approach to service delivery.

We are looking for individuals with experience working with children and young people within formal or informal education, youth work or community settings. You will have a strong understanding of the issues facing children and young people today, alongside a creative and dynamic approach to engaging hard-to-reach and vulnerable groups.

    • Have experience in community development and leadership.
    • Be able to engage and support diverse groups and individuals.
    • Be passionate about working with children and young people.
    • Be confident in planning, delivering and evaluating activities and interventions.
    • Have strong communication, listening and organisational skills.
    • Be able to build positive relationships and partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
    • Be proactive, compassionate and approachable.
    • Be reliable, respectful and professional.
    • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Be flexible and responsive to the needs of children, young people, partners and stakeholders.

    What We Offer

    • A rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people.
    • Ongoing training, development and support.
    • A varied role working across a range of youth settings and programmes.
    • A supportive and collaborative team environment.
    • Opportunities to develop your skills and experience within youth work and community engagement.
