  • About the role

  • Hillingdon Council is recruiting a Lettings Team Manager to lead the delivery of the lettings pathway, including voids, decants, viewings and sign-ups. This is a key role at the centre of the housing system - ensuring homes are turned around quickly, let efficiently and made available to residents in need. You will play a critical role in improving supply, reducing delays and supporting move-on from temporary accommodation, contributing to MTFS outcomes.

    About the opportunity
    You will lead the Lettings team, responsible for managing the end-to-end lettings process across Council housing stock.
    You will:
    • Lead and develop a high-performing lettings team
    • Drive performance across voids, viewings and sign-ups
    • Reduce void turnaround times and increase available supply
    • Manage decants and support major works and regeneration programmes
    • Ensure homes are let quickly, efficiently and in line with policy
    • Work closely with allocations, housing management and contractors
    • Use data to monitor performance, identify delays and improve delivery
    This is a fast-paced operational leadership role requiring strong organisational skills, performance focus and the ability to deliver results at pace.
