  • About the role

  • Hillingdon Council is recruiting a Home Finder Team Manager to lead the delivery of Private Rented Sector (PRS) and Temporary Accommodation (TA) supply. This is a critical role at the heart of the housing system - working with landlords, agents and providers to increase supply, improve placements and reduce reliance on temporary accommodation. You will play a key role in delivering MTFS outcomes and improving access to housing for residents. You will lead the Home Finder team, responsible for sourcing, securing and sustaining accommodation supply across PRS and TA.

    About the opportunity

    You will:
    • Build and lead a high-performing Home Finder team
    • Secure PRS and TA supply through landlord and provider engagement
    • Develop strong relationships with landlords, agents and accommodation providers
    • Drive placements and move-on from temporary accommodation
    • Manage day-to-day sourcing, referrals and supply pipelines
    • Oversee complex negotiations and affordability decisions
    • Use data to track supply, performance and outcomes
    This is a fast-paced, outward-facing role requiring strong commercial awareness, negotiation skills and operational leadership.
