About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Business and Information Support Officer to join our Environment Business Support Team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the effective management of information, data, and administrative processes that support service delivery and decision-making.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, handling information requests, supporting reporting requirements, and providing high-quality administrative support to officers and managers across the service. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, maintain, and update business information systems, databases, and records
  • Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and effective information governance
  • Support reporting, performance monitoring, and data requests
  • Coordinate and respond to internal and external information queries
  • Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation to a high standard
  • Support audits, inspections, and statutory information requirements
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve processes and information flow

About You

You will be detail-oriented, reliable, and confident working with data and information systems in a busy environment.

You will have:

  • Experience in an administrative or business support role
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience handling data, records, or information systems
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
