Working hours: 37.5 hours per week (banking 30 minutes per week to be used towards the shutdown between Christmas and New Year)

Are you a motivated individual looking for an opportunity to work proactively in a friendly, efficient and customer focused work environment? If so, we are seeking a Housing Assistant to work in our Home Ownership team. 

The successful applicant will work as part of the Housing team supporting the work of the team as required. You will deal with and support specialist housing management professionals as required, which may include:

  • Leaseholder Management
  • Service Charge Collection
  • Right To Buy
  • Anti-Social behaviour
  • Tenancy Enforcement
  • Garage Management

You should have:

  • Experience of working in social housing or the voluntary sector.
  • An understanding of current Housing issues would be an advantage.
  • A proven track record of working within a pressurised, customer focused environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically at all levels.
  • Ability to work/attend meetings outside of normal working hours.
  • A driving licence and access to a vehicle or other satisfactory means of transport.
